To whom it may concern,
My home had two aging systems from the early 1990’s because of an addition which had a wall furnace. I thought that I would have to always have 2 heating systems which was really annoying as it meant 2 programmable thermostats, rooms with two temperatures, etc.
Matt Dickow put together a quote to replace my wall furnace as it went out and needed to be replaced as it was 25+ years old. In considering the cost of the wall furnace we started talking about my main unit and how old it was and was soon going to be issues from not only a repair cost but safety concerns.
I asked Matt to put together “a” quote for what it would take to get this all accomplished and give me peace of mind. Matt brought multiple quotes, and educated me on the different systems, the pros and cons of each. Having the ability to choose the combination of which heating and cooling system would fit my budget was invaluable. I liked the ability to choose versus someone saying this is “the one”. We all like options!
The work crew worked around my schedule and answered any questions or concerns that I had. The crew was personable and were always listening to my concerns and did not go on deaf ears.
I would strongly recommend Absotemp Climate Control to my family and friends. They have earned my future heating and cooling needs.

Late in December of 2016 I discovered I had a problem with my furnace. I called one Trane Dealer and did not get the satisfaction I was looking for. After doing more research I found Absotemp and decided to give them a call. I talked to Dawn in the office and told her what I thought the problem was and she said she would have Matt Dickow the owner give me a call. Almost immediately Matt did give me a call and we set up and appointment for him to come and check out the problem I was having. Later that day he did come and found that the secondary heat exchanger was leaking. We discussed the possibility of repair but because the furnace was 10 years old it was not worth fixing as other problems would probably start happening just because of the age of the entire system.
Within a day he came back and gave me a quote to replace the current furnace and water heater and air conditioning units. At first I was a little overwhelmed at the total cost on the quote but my wife and I had opted for the best of the best that Trane had to offer. Matt was very thorough in explaining every detail of the system we decided to purchase. We agreed on the price and 3 days later he started the job.
Terry the technician came and started the job. I have to say he is the most polite and knowledgeable person that you can get and did not mind at all (or it seemed to me he did not) at my asking questions as he was working. Matt came and helped Terry for a while as material was being delivered. Matt’s son Luke came also and helped Terry with taking out the old system and installing the new. The weather outside was on my side as it was exceptionally warm for the time of year but they did supply portable heaters for us to use if needed.
The system I have in my home is quite sophisticated and it took probably 1 day longer than a normal system would take to install. Terry was there every day and when he said he would be there at 8:00 am, his truck was in my driveway 1 minute before. In just over 3 days the entire system was installed. I am certain that Coffee and Cookies for them also helped.
The entire crew of Matt Dickow, Terry the Technician and Luke and Dawn were very professional and neat and clean. Other than the new system being in place you would never know they had been here. After the installation was complete, Matt came and went over a 27 point inspection with me. The building inspector was called and the job passed with flying colors.
From my perspective, I can only give Absotemp a 5 star Rating. I would recommend this company to anyone.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to tell you about my recent experience with Absotemp Climate Control Inc. It started with an equipment failure of my air conditioning system at my house. Last week with outside temps in the 90’s and high humidity my a/c stopped working. I looked in the yellow pages for a repair technician, that is where I found Absotemp among many others. I started making calls for appointment for check out and repair. After calling a few places some were able to schedule an appointment the next day or some within a few days. Then I called Absotemp the phone rang and then I could hear the phone transfer to another number, I forgot to mention it was about 7:20 pm at the time I was able to make calls, and then Matt answered the phone and we talked for a few minuets while I told him my problem. He then said if was available he would come right over. Already I knew that I was probably better off with him than any of the others I just called. In about 20 to 30 minuets his truck pulled into my driveway. He checked out my central a/c unit we talked about options and we came to a conclusion about what was best for me and my family. He said if you give my twenty minuets he would go to his truck and give me 4 different quotes for my problem. So after I received the quotes from Matt I informed him that I did make appointments with other contractors for estimates and I would get back with him. In total I received 4 quotes from 4 different companies. I review all quotes 2 were a lot higher priced than Absotemp for the same repair. One of the quotes was less than Absotemp but did not have all the upgrades Absotemp offered. After careful research I ruled out the cheaper quote because I plan on living in this house for a long time and wanted the best repair with all the upgrades. I called Matt and gave him the ok to start the job, he made a schedule on when to start and when he would finish. He stuck to that schedule and I know I made the right choice when he was finished on time and showed my how to operate my new climate control system I could not have been more satisfied.
Absotemp and Matt get my highest recommendation. Honest, trustworthy, professional.

I am writing to thank you and your staff for your recent installation of a new Trane Furnace in my house.
Our approximately 20 year old furnace broke down on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. It was subzero weather and the temperature in our house dropped below 50F. My wife and I felt uncomfortable. Then I gave you a call around 10 pm for help. You drove to our house that night, arrived around 11pm and checked out the furnace problems. We decided to replace the old furnace. You introduced us to several options of Trane heating systems for the replacement and offered to install the furnace the next day (March 8, 2018). You brought and provided four portable heaters for us to use in our house, which was helpful for us to spend that cold night.
March 8, 2018 at noon, Technician Terry arrived and started his job. He protected our house with drop cloths and boot covers while doing his job. He took away the old broken down furnace in the basement. You and Terry worked together to complete installing the new Trane furnace on the same day. You are professional and considerate. We are delighted that we have a quieter and more energy efficient heating system with a nice WIFI connected thermostat. We really appreciated your excellent professional job and mostly taking great care of us!
We’ll keep your suggestion in mind that maintenance is also very important. Your service is trustful.

I don’t usually write testimonials, but Matt Dickow (Absotemp) deserves this. We found him thru our Sportsman’s club newsletter and noticed a yard sign in our neighborhood where he had just done an installation. Our furnace/AC unit was 20 years old and the AC gave out on one of the hottest days of the year. My wife has a medical condition that’s aggravated by heat and Matt came out that day and his team worked until 9pm getting our unit back up and running. His level of customer service is exemplary and he went above and beyond the call of duty.
While he was here, he looked at our furnace and asked about our utility bills, which have been consistently high. Since our entire system was on its last legs and very inefficient, he explained that we were prime candidates for a heat pump with a back-up furnace. He projected the energy savings and recommended a complete system with a humidifier and electronic air cleaner. We also purchased the 10 year extended warranty, which eased our concerned about technology that we weren’t familiar with.
His team did a beautiful installation job, they were very were prompt and professional and took great pains to protect our home with drop cloths and boot covers. They cleaned up every night, even though we told them they were welcome to leave their equipment in place. The system has been running for a few weeks now and so far we love it. It’s quiet and does a great job keeping our home comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Absotemp to anyone in our area needing service work or an installation. Other contractors I’ve dealt with don’t even come close to his level of service and knowledge.

Dear Matt & Crew (definitely includes you too, Dawn):
“A number of months have passed since the install, with the weather gambit moving from the North Pole to the Tropics, and I thought it was time to provide a little input.
Having enjoyed the services of Absotemp for well over a decade, I expected nothing short of “surprise & delight” and you certainly did not disappoint!
After reviewing the status of my then current system and the best available options (to do a temporary fix or replace the system), we decided to replace with a considerably upgraded system. Your vast knowledge of the various Trane systems and clear explanations of suitability and the costs for my home made the decision a breeze. Your past performance and long service to my abode certainly didn’t hurt either.
The installation (90% of which took place under my house) took a couple of days of serious labor, but the end result was and is magnificent. Not only did I receive a beautiful new system, but the furnace area was re- stabillad tremember this is under the house in what is basically a big sandbox) and a much needed vapor barric added. All of this was done expertly, cleanly, and in my opinion pretty darn quickly. Of course, while all this w going on the weather was pretty cold, so Mart provided several portable heaters to keep us nice and toasty.
What more could ask for? The ease of the new digital thermostat is a wonder. The system (both air and heat) is quiet and efficient. But, best of all are the financial benefits; my utility bills so far have reduced by a good 30
So, Matt, congratulations again on being the best ever heating/cooling guy around. You and your team really care about customer satisfaction. In fact, Matt, I believe you just plain care about people and you prove it thoug your hard work and attention to the individual needs of the job. It’s way better than having an “uncle” in the business.
Thank you for your great care of me and mine!

I wanted to thank you and your staff for the recent installation of my new Trane home heating system.
The professionalism was of the highest degree and your commitment to ensure customer satisfaction; exemplary.
Your in-depth knowledge of Trane products and your concise explanation of each, specific, component was extremely helpful in selecting the right system for my home. I never had anyone completely measure every room to correctly Identify the heating unit required!
I look forward to many future years with Absotemp and would highly recommend you and your staff to any potential customers.
Thanks, again, for an A-1 job!!

If you are thinking about upgrading your furnace, I would seriously consider Absotemp. Matt, the owner, is one of the most conscientious individuals I have ever met. He installed a Trane High Efficiency Furnace and Heat Pump for me in December 2010. He also recommended replacing my 27 year old hot water tank. This was replaced with a Bradford- White hot water tank, which is one of the best tanks made; I should know the plant and headquarters are located in the small town I grew up in Middleville MI. He had to do some extensive duct work to ensure my system worked at its maximum efficiency. Everything he did was first class. It actually has reduced my gas and electric bill by 40%. He also delivers on his promises. After the installation was complete we had a hard water problem due to our well and he came back to install a water filter to our humidifier system on our furnace. Another thing I liked is that Absotemp is a locally owned company. I guarantee you Matt will be there for you.

Dear Mike
Just a note to let you know that we are very pleased with our new Trane variable speed furnace and AC. It is the cats meow (and my wife loves cats, but she is allergic to them) The two men that were here (I forget there name, but tell them we said hello) were as you said, kind, knowledgeable, and neat.
We are not heavy AC users but we have used it on occasion (of course when our power is on, ha) and have found it to be very comfortable. I have turned the fan on to run all the time for the night and our bedroom is comfortable. During the day it gets a little warm upstairs but the fan is on auto and I could probably balance the system a little bit more. Overall it is not too bad. The fan is quiet and so is the AC.
We are definitely proud of our variable speed furnace and for all you nice people over there at Absotemp. As you know you were not the lowest as far as price, but we are happy with the final product. So that just goes to show that price is not always the final factor.
Let’s bring on the winter, we’re ready!
Hope you are busy and doing well.
Thank you for a find job.

Hot water is not something we give much thought to on a daily basis. We know when we turn on the shower, hot water will come out and steam will be filling our bathroom shortly! Until the day it doesn’t! A conventional storage tank water heater will last only about 10 to 15 years. You do not want the cold water of a morning shower to be your wake up call! Once you decide to replace your water heater, you don’t have to think about it again for several years down the road.
With the ability to vent horizontally or vertically using 3″ or 4″ PVC, ABS or CPVC pipe, you can vent this hot water heater through the wall or through the roof. The Bradford White TTW models are power vented for positive exhaust.
The Bradford White Defender Safety System is designed to be the safest, most reliable flammable vapor ignition resistant system in the industry meeting all the requirements set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The Defender Safety System features ScreenLok Technology flame arrestor. The louvered flame arrestor design increases the speed of incoming combustion air and creates a vector effect inside the combustion chamber when flammable vapors are ignited, preventing flames from traveling back through the flame arrestor and outside the water heater. Other features include Resettable thermal switch, virtually maintenance free.

ICON Control System is included on all Bradford White Residential and Light Duty Commercial Water Heaters. Features of the ICON System include:
Hydrojet® Total Performance System: The Hydrojet® Total Performance System is a cold-water inlet tube that was especially engineered to reduce costly sediment buildup and create more thorough mixing of incoming water with stored water. Because of more efficient mixing, extreme temperature differences throughout the tank are greatly reduced. Water Heaters with the Hydrojet Total Performance System don’t have to work as hard or as often to maintain a maximum supply of hot water at the desired temperature. They heat water faster and use less energy to do it. And, it’s standard equipment on all Bradford White top connect residential water heaters.
Vitraglas® The World’s Best Enamel Tank Lining: Bradford White water heater tanks are protected from the corrosive effects of hot water by an exclusive enamel lining. The exclusive Vitraglas enamel lining is uniquely formulated and applied to the interior of the water heater tank.
Our test results prove that Vitraglas provides unsurpassed protection against failure when compared to other water heater linings.
The Bradford White RG2PV75H6N is in compliance with the new Uniform Energy Factor requirements for water heater manufacturers set forth by the National Appliance Energy Conservation Act (NAECA).
